TruGolf Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRUG) experienced a significant rise in share value on Monday, climbing 40.05% to close the session at $7.99. This notable surge followed the company’s announcement regarding the grand opening of its first franchised recreational and training facility under the TruGolf Links brand.
Scheduled for July 29th, the facility is located at 450 S Spruce Street in Manteno, Illinois, and will welcome guests from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a formal dedication ceremony at noon.
Franchise Debut Marks Strategic Expansion
This “Executive” franchise location will include four TruGolf Premium Simulators and a TruGolf Multi-sport Arcade, offering a technologically enhanced recreational experience without food and beverage services.
The event will feature remarks from TruGolf Links’ Chief Development Officer, Dr. Ben Litalien, alongside Manteno’s Mayor, Annette LaMore. The opening represents a milestone for TruGolf, which began its franchising journey 14 months ago with the creation of TruGolf Links.
Future Growth Across Multiple States
With over 160 franchise units currently in development across New Jersey, Tennessee, Illinois, and New York, TruGolf plans to begin opening additional locations in the fourth quarter of this year.
It is anticipated that the expansion would pick up speed in 2026. The company’s expanding nationwide footprint was recently strengthened when franchisee Nick Reimondo acquired a space at Cherry Hill Shopping Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
A New Era for Indoor Golf and Training
Using cutting-edge indoor simulations that blend accuracy and realism, TruGolf Links seeks to revolutionize golf practice and play. In addition to being used for leisure, these simulators are being included into physical training and wellness environments to promote posture, range of motion, and coordination gains.
With extra features like non-golfers’ arcade games, private events, and round-the-clock member access, TruGolf establishes itself as a pioneer in inclusive and immersive golf entertainment. Through its growing network, the organization also intends to sponsor leagues, hire local educators, and prepare competitions.
