$100M+ in Commitments from Agency Holding Companies and Brands
On 24th August 2021, VZIO stated that it has completed its upfront talks for 2022. The company has also received brand and agency advertising commitments totaling more than $100 million, a fourfold increase over 2021.
Firstly, six major agency holding firms have made enterprise-level pledges, as well as increased investment from a number of important advertising sectors. VIZIO’s early success is bolstered by its expanding direct advertising business. Secondly, this has quadrupled the number of participating unique companies and tripled the average income per advertiser in the previous year.
Thirdly, advertiser demand is rising in lockstep with larger market trends. VIZIO’s diverse, innovative ad offerings were introduced during the 2021 IAB NewFronts. This allows VIZIO to package media spend commitments with data licenses for planning and measurement.
